I have read the novel 1984 by English novelist George Orwell.

I would put into this room love to people and something medical ( a pill) that is not dangerous for the human`s health, to let these poor people feel calm. The world can’t be left without love, this way people are born. As animals need water, people need love and attention; without this humans turn into real animals. So they need love in this room. The man can’t be a human being without good qualities either. Otherwise it has no soul, as it presented in this book. That is my point of view.
Moreover, I would put a mirror into this room to let the person who tortures the prisoner to look at this mirror and watch the beast in it, to let him or her know who is he or she.
By the way, I think it would not be the odd in the list of objects which I would like to put into this room: a book about love to the world - a nice novella The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

If I could put something out of this room, I would remove hatred and put out the torture equipment. Having a special status they gave to themselves they do not have right to torture a human that did not threatened their lives.
