Using the source N-gram-viwer I am to present my own analysis of frequency of three words from the book I am reading as my Reading course home task. Look how the frequency of these words changed over time.
1 Frequency of using the word Argument have been rising gradually within the times, and reached the peak in 2000 - from 50% in 1900 to 110% in 2010, this year it is much lower.
2 Frequency of using the word Labor have been slightly changing, it always sayed a neutral noun which is used in a particular sphere mostly - from 10% in 1900 to 20% in 1945, and 38% in 2006. Now it is barely used in life. We can find these words in old books or in the information about The Great Britain`s courts.
3 Frequency of using the word Betray is the least popular word in our life, which can be found more in literature, poetry - the peak was 9% in 1929. Now it is rarely used. But, as I noticed, singers like using this word iin theeir lyrics.
